The last seven days here in Guilford have certainly been interesting from the weather perspective. Last weekend we had heavy wet snow and lost power for 48 hours. Despite that we had guests here who persevered with us. We ended up having a great time having light food, no power refreshments and stories. I'll post a description of the evening from one of the guests right after this blog post.
Last night as most folks in the country, we were hit with heavy precipitation (rain in our case) and wind. We still have power. The river seems to be a bit rambunctious today though with all the rain. Have a look at the attached video to see the river and water flowing over the dam.
